A lo largo de este curso se enviará y responderá al correo electrónico, haciendo uso de la aplicación para navegador IBM Lotus Domino Web Access (DWA) 8. Dado que la mensajería instantánea Sametime está integrada en el cliente de correo DWA, se podrá también saber cuando los usuarios están online para poder conversar con ellos en tiempo real.

Este curso cubre en profundidad el calendario y las características de planificación encontradas en su correo. Se hará uso del calendario para realizar un seguimiento de las citas y para planificar reuniones. A la vez que se planifica una reunión, se puede revisar la planificación del resto de asistentes para ver la disponibilidad de los mismos. Se pueden reservar recursos y salas de reuniones para que todo esté preparado para cuando comience la reunión.

Se aprenderá cómo realizar el seguimiento de las tareas y verlas en gráficas de Gantt para facilitar su visualización y seguimiento.

Se crearán contactos y grupos para ayudar a gestionar las relaciones, así como para utilizarlos en el envío de correo.

Este curso muestra también cómo poder hacer uso del correo mientras se está desconectado de Internet y luego sincronizar los cambios cuando se esté conectado.

Objetivos

En este curso se aprenderá a:

  • saber cuándo otras personas están online y comunicarse con ellas haciendo uso de la mensajería instantánea.

  • hacer uso del calendario para planificar citas y reuniones y examinar el tiempo libre en la planificación de otras personas.
  • definir tareas personales y de grupo
  • crear contactos para envío sencillo de correo electrónico
  • crear páginas de cuaderno para almacenar texto y archivos anexos
  • trabajar en el correo mientras se está desconectado de Internet
  • manualmente archivar los mensajes obsoletos para liberar espacio del correo
  • acceder al correo haciendo uso de DWA y un lector RSS

Audiencia

Este curso asume habilidades básicas en el uso de un ordenador y software y está diseñado para personas que pueden:

  • arrancar y parar aplicaciones de software en Microsoft® Windows™
  • utilizar Microsoft Windows Explorer para encontrar y organizar archivos
